This DVD is the second in a series, and is designed to prepare the candidate for the Associate Latin-American Examination. It follows the same format as the Student-Teacher DVD, and the "Latin-American Complete Guide for Professional Examinations", by Miriam Ellis, who is also the producer of this DVD series.

Each of the Associate figures in Rumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Paso Doble and Jive is explained and demonstrated by Michael Dean and his partner, Amanda. At the end of each dance, there is also a demonstration of the suggested Associate Amalgamation, taken from the same Latin Guidebook.
